Centennial beats Andover 4-3 after comeback scareCentennial Sports Arena Sat, Dec 01, 2012 The Andover Huskies tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Centennial Cougars would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3. A goal by Hans Gorowsky put Centennial up 4-2 in the third period, but Andover pulled to within one on Tyler Vold's tally 15:28 into the third period. The Cougars' offense rang up 33 shots on the Huskies' net. Centennial could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game. Wyatt Close also scored for Centennial. More assists for Centennial came via Ryner Gorowsky, who had two and Colin Hughes, Adam Anderson, and Will Juergens, who each chipped in one. Andover put 38 shots on net during the contest, more than the 10.5 it averages per game. Andover also got a goal from Christian Mohs as well. In addition, Andover received assists from Brady Barthold, who had two and John Chorzempa and Jared McComber, who contributed one a piece. Patrick Munson made 35 saves for the Cougars on 38 shots. Centennial registered one goal on four power play opportunities. Chase Perry rejected 29 shots on goal for the Huskies. Andover totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 2-for-6 on the power play.
