Lakeville South's Swaney deadly on offense in 6-2 win against Apple ValleyApple Valley Sports Arena Sat, Feb 09, 2013 The Lakeville South Cougars relied on the scoring touch of Nick Swaney, who netted two goals, to beat the Apple Valley Eagles, 6-2. Swaney scored at 7:50 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Lakeville South and again while 43 seconds into the second to make the score 3-1 Lakeville South.Lakeville South managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Cougars finished below its season average of 4.0 penalty minutes per game. Lakeville South surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Cougars average 3.1 goals per contest.
