Stebbing lifts Eagan over Burnsville, 7-3

Kyle Stebbing was all over the ice for the Eagan Wildcats, as he tallied two goals in Eagan's 7-3 win over the Burnsville Blaze.

Stebbing scored at 10:25 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 2:48 into the second to make the score 2-1 Eagan.

Burnsville was unable to stop the Wildcats from sending pucks towards the net, and Eagan eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. The Wildcats' penalty kill was ineffective, and let in three goals to the Blaze's power play unit.

Eagan also got points from Tommy Muck, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Nick Wolff, who also registered one goal and one assist, Josh Loew, who also had one goal and one assist, and Zach Glienke, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Eagan also got a goal from Cullen Willox as well. More assists for Eagan came via Jesse Gabrielle, Zach Schultz, Will Peterson, Jack Jenson, and Nick Smallidge, who contributed one a piece.

The 25 shots that Burnsville put on net surpassed the Blaze's average of 1.0 shot per game this season.

Burnsville was helped by Nick DiGregorio, who registered one goal. DiGregorio scored on the power play 8:11 into the second period to make the score 2-2. The Blaze had gained a power play chance when Gabrielle was whistled for interference. Anthony Rikberg provided the assist. Burnsville additionally got points from Tyler Sheehy, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Teemu Kivihalme also scored for Burnsville. In addition, Burnsville received assists from Jack Ahcan, Sam Dockry, and Cole Borchardt, who each chipped in one.

Andrew Lindgren recorded 22 saves for Eagan. The Wildcats incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Chris Mallon made 31 saves for Burnsville on 38 shots. The Blaze incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
