Burnsville downs Rosemount, 5-0

Cole Borchardt had one point to lead the Burnsville Blaze to a 5-0 victory over the Rosemount Irish.

Burnsville's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Rosemount power plays. The Blaze's defense was surprisingly good. Burnsville allows 2.6 goals per game. With 49 shots on target during the contest, the Blaze exceeded the 0.9 shots they average per game this year.

Burnsville additionally got points from Dan Ames, who also registered two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Andy Shoen also scored for Burnsville. In addition, Burnsville received assists from Sam Dockry and Nick DiGregorio, who each chipped in one and Jack Ahcan and Anthony Rikberg, who contributed two a piece.

Rosemount was held below its usual level of production. The Irish put an average of 3.3 pucks into the net per game.
