Jordan Moran recorded a shutout against the Burnsville Blaze as the Prior Lake Lakers picked up a 2-0 win.

Prior Lake was led by Gavin Smith, who finished with one goal. Smith scored on the power play 4:27 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Prior Lake. The Lakers had taken the advantage when Burnsville's Ian Taylor got sent off for roughing. Blake Busch picked up the assist.

Prior Lake's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Burnsville power plays. The Lakers' defensive play was more effective than usual against the Blaze. Prior Lake gives up 2.4 goals on average per game.

Will Reedy also scored for Prior Lake. Other players who recorded assists for Prior Lake were Jack Murphy, who had one.
