Huge game by Willox boosts Eagan over Bloomington Jefferson, 6-3

The Eagan Wildcats' Cullen Willox had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 6-3 win over the Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars.

Willox found the back of the net 12:03 into the second period to make the score 2-2 and again while 5:27 into the third to make the score 4-2 Eagan.

Eagan additionally got points from Zach Glienke, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Eagan also got a goal from Kyle Stebbing as well. More assists for Eagan came via Jesse Gabrielle, Josh Loew, and Jack Jenson, who contributed one a piece.

Bloomington Jefferson was helped by Jack Graves, who tallied one goal. Graves scored 11:48 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Bloomington Jefferson. Johnny Panvica provided the assist. Bloomington Jefferson also got points from Panvica, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Tyler Johnson also scored for Bloomington Jefferson. In addition, Bloomington Jefferson received assists from Tony Roisum, Jack Weiss, and Zac Beek, who each chipped in one.

Andrew Lindgren made 22 saves for Eagan on 25 shots. The Wildcats totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. Eagan ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Nick Wolff was ejected from the game. Grant Martens rejected 24 shots on goal for the Jaguars. Bloomington Jefferson incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors and had no power play opportunities.
