East Ridge downs Apple Valley, 5-0

Luke Ringhofer finished with one point to lead the East Ridge Raptors to a 5-0 victory over the Apple Valley Eagles.

East Ridge racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with five minors and three majors for 45 minutes in penalty time. The Raptors surpassed its season average of 27.0 penalty minutes per game. East Ridge stifled Apple Valley's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Raptors were held below their usual level of production. East Ridge averages 7.3 goals per game. The Raptors' offense rang up 38 shots on the Eagles' net.

East Ridge additionally got points from Kevin Donahue, who also registered one goal and one assist and Derek Hammer, who also racked up one goal and one assist. East Ridge also got a goal from Ian Penvose as well. In addition, East Ridge received assists from Samuel Kastner and Ryan Karrow, who contributed one a piece and Tyler Hart and Steven Fronek, who each chipped in two.

Apple Valley did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 13 shots on net to force 13 saves.
