Jimmy Schuldt was a peerless playmaker for the Minnetonka Skippers, as he dished out four to beat the Apple Valley Eagles, 7-1.

Apple Valley was unable to stop Minnetonka from sending pucks towards the net, and the Skippers eventually piled up 47 shots on goal.

Minnetonka additionally got points from Thomas Vanneli, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Connor Thie, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Max Coatta, who also tallied one goal and three assists, and John Schuldt, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Minnetonka also got a goal from Charles Huminski as well. Other players who recorded assists for Minnetonka were Jack Burns and Thomas Brandabur, who each chipped in one.

Minnetonka's defense shut down the Eagles' forwards for much of the game, and Apple Valley got off only 14 shots during the contest. The Eagles did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Apple Valley was led by Dylan Reynolds, who scored the team's only goal. Reynolds scored 8:28 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Apple Valley. Brandon Smith picked up the assist.

Paul Ciaccio made 13 saves for the Skippers on 14 shots. Minnetonka incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Shane Van Dusartz recorded 40 saves for the Eagles. Apple Valley registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
