Cody Rogala netted a hat trick to lead the Forest Lake Rangers over the East Ridge Raptors, 5-3.

Rogala's first goal came 3:42 into the first period. He then added goals at 16:32 into the first and at 4:35 into the third.

Forest Lake kept East Ridge's goalie busy throughout the game, and Tyler Guck made 28 saves on 33 shots.

Forest Lake also got points from Brett Gravelle, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Forest Lake also got a goal from Weston Kilpela as well. In addition, Forest Lake received assists from Landon Pikala and Jack Schmidt, who each chipped in one.

The Raptors excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. East Ridge's offense rang up 45 shots on the Rangers' net.

The Raptors were helped by Jacob Behnken, who had one goal. Behnken scored 13:47 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Joseph Schutz assisted on the tally. Tyler Hart also scored for East Ridge. More assists for East Ridge came via Jack Dwyer, who had one.

Forest Lake's Jesse Garcia stopped 42 shots out of the 45 that he faced. The Rangers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. East Ridge incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. For the Raptors, Behnken was ejected from the game.
