White Bear Lake beats Lakeville South 2-1 after comeback scareLakeville Hasse Arena Tue, Jan 29, 2013 The White Bear Lake Bears survived a determined comeback attempt by the Lakeville South Cougars on the way to a 2-1 win. White Bear Lake took a 2-0 lead during the second period, only to have Lakeville South storm back on a Weston Baumann goal 7:14 into the third period to pull to one goal down. The Bears were led by Brady Anderson, who finished with one goal. Anderson scored 10:25 into the second period to make the score White Bear Lake. Tommy Giller provided the assist. White Bear Lake put 26 shots on net during the contest, more than the 2.8 it averages per game. White Bear Lake additionally got points from Jake Wahlin, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, White Bear Lake received assists from Peter Wachtler and Alex Bocchi, who each chipped in one.
