White Bear Lake downs East Ridge, 5-0

Wyatt Newpower tallied one point to lead the White Bear Lake Bears to a 5-0 victory over the East Ridge Raptors.

White Bear Lake put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow East Ridge to score on any of its five power plays. The Bears featured an improved defense during the game. White Bear Lake allows 2.9 goals per game. The Bears put 25 shots on net during the contest, more than the 2.3 they average per game.

White Bear Lake additionally got points from Seth King, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Thomas Delaney also scored for White Bear Lake. Other players who recorded assists for White Bear Lake were Peter Deppert, Ben Wilke, Sam Anderson, and Jake Wahlin, who each chipped in one.

The Raptors could not produce up to they normal offensive output. East Ridge puts an average of 3.7 pucks into the net per game.

Chase Gorman made 22 saves for White Bear Lake on 22 shots. The Bears incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Tyler Guck rejected 20 shots on goal for the Raptors. East Ridge ended with 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors and two majors.
