Larson, Roseville blank East Ridge, 4-0Roseville Thu, Jan 03, 2013 The Roseville Raiders used a sparkling performance by Zach Larson to take down the East Ridge Raptors, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Roseville's 4-0 shutout victory. The Raiders got the win behind a great game by Colton Brauesen, who had two goals and one assist. Brauesen scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 6:21 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Roseville. Roseville earned a power play opportunity when Ian Penvose was put in the box for checking from behind. Alex Brauesen provided the assist. Brauesen's next tally on the power play made the score 4-0 Roseville with 3:31 left in the third period. Riley McCann assisted on the tally. The Raiders stifled East Ridge's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Roseville also got a goal from Robb Stautz as well. In addition, Roseville received assists from Matt Irwin, Tony Arias, and Tom McCann, who each chipped in one. The Raptors could not produce up to they normal offensive output. East Ridge puts an average of 4.0 pucks into the net per game. Larson rejected 26 shots on goal for Roseville. The Raiders incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Tyler Guck recorded 20 saves for the Raptors. East Ridge totaled 19 minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-6 on the power play. For the Raptors, Penvose was ejected from the game.
