Mac Rathmanner gave the Mahtomedi Zephyers a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders when he scored 1:00 into the extra period.

Mahtomedi overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Zephyers trailed 3-1 after a goal by Cretin-Derham Hall's Jim Buckingham at 11:26 in the second period. Mahtomedi tied things up at 3-3 on a short handed goal by Matt Bonine at 14:29 in the third period.

Bonine was all over the ice for the Zephyers, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win.

Mahtomedi's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Cretin-Derham Hall power plays.

Trevor Dittberner also scored for Mahtomedi. More assists for Mahtomedi came via Adam Boben, who had one.

Cretin-Derham Hall also got a goal from Cal Crawford as well. In addition, Cretin-Derham Hall received assists from Bret Huebner, who had two and Tanner Lydon and Joe Dekker, who contributed one a piece.

Colin Denis made 27 saves for the Zephyers on 30 shots. Mahtomedi incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Raiders' Jarret Peterson stopped 12 shots out of the 16 that he faced. Cretin-Derham Hall incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
