Kyle Petersburg netted a hat trick to lead the Kittson Central Wolfpack over the Breckenridge/Wahpeton Blades, 4-2.

Petersburg's first goal came 2:25 into the second period. He then added goals at 6:06 into the second and at 24 seconds into the third.

Breckenridge/Wahpeton was unable to stop Kittson Central from sending pucks towards the net, and the Wolfpack eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Kittson Central additionally got points from Dalton Klegstad, who also tallied one goal and two assists. In addition, Kittson Central received assists from JP Mortenson, who had one.

The Blades were helped by Aaron Neppl, who grabbed one goal. Neppl scored on the power play 13:05 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Breckenridge/Wahpeton. Austin Hagstrom assisted on the tally. Tyler Gripentrog also scored for Breckenridge/Wahpeton.

Tucker Cosley rejected 14 shots on goal for Kittson Central. The Wolfpack incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Michael Withuski recorded 32 saves for Breckenridge/Wahpeton. The Blades totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play.
