Jake Herges lifted the River Lakes Stars to an 8-2 victory with a hat trick against the Becker-Big Lake Eagles.

Herges' first goal came 13:01 into the first period. He then added goals at 16:15 into the first and at 4:30 into the second.

River Lakes' offense rang up 42 shots on Becker-Big Lake's net. The Stars surpassed their usual scoring output this season. This season, River Lakes averages 3.3 goals per contest.

River Lakes also got points from Ethan Parsons, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for River Lakes included Austin Stone, who had one and Dylan Jude, who had three.
