Ripley nets hat trick, leads Proctor to 9-1 win over Moose Lake AreaMoose Lake Area Arena Thu, Jan 17, 2013 The Moose Lake Area Rebels could not stop the Proctor Rails' Christian Ripley, who tallied a hat trick in a 9-1 win. Ripley got on the scoresheet 11:41 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:47 into the third and at 4:02 into the third.Proctor's offense rang up 57 shots on Moose Lake Area's net. The Rails' goal total was higher than their season average. Proctor has scored at the pace of 3.1 goals per game during the current campaign. Proctor also got points from Jake Malec, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Brodie Nordquist, who also registered two goals and one assist, and Andrew Kiminki, who also had two goals and one assist. Derek Dahlgren also scored for Proctor. Other players who recorded assists for Proctor were Shane Gould, who had three, Austin LePage, Ty Rackliffe, Grant Morin, and Tanner Bergman, who contributed one a piece, and Trace Norton and Jack Nikko, who each chipped in two. The Rebels put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Rails to score on any of their three power plays. Moose Lake Area did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting one shot on net to force zero saves. The Rebels were led by Zach Paull, who scored the team's only goal. Paull scored on the power play 14:38 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Proctor. A roughing penalty on Kiminki had put Moose Lake Area on the power play. Cole Lower provided the assist. Proctor incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Rebels incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
