Windom Area kept Fairmont's goalie busy throughout the game, and Colton Cunning made 36 saves on 47 shots. The Eagles surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Tyler McGowan recorded 23 saves for the Eagles. Windom Area registered one goal on six power play opportunities. The Cardinals totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and had no power play opportunities.
