Lindstrom's hat trick boosts Breck School over St. Paul Johnson, 8-0PSI Internal Staff Thu, Jan 17, 2013 Thomas Lindstrom lifted the Breck School Mustangs to an 8-0 victory with a hat trick against the St. Paul Johnson Governors. Lindstrom's first goal came 3:58 into the first period. He then added goals at 15:06 into the second and at 15:15 into the second.Breck School's defense was surprisingly good. The Mustangs allow 2.1 goals per game. St. Paul Johnson was unable to stop Breck School from sending pucks towards the net, and the Mustangs eventually piled up 39 shots on goal. Breck School bested its season scoring average. The Mustangs have scored at the pace of 5.3 goals per game during the current campaign. Breck School also got points from Matt Colford, who also tallied one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Chase Ellingson also scored for Breck School. In addition, Breck School received assists from Derek Wiitala, who had one, Jack O''Connor, who had three, and David Husband and Michael Orke, who contributed two a piece. The Governors did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. St. Paul Johnson averages 2.5 goals per game. Breck School's defense shut down the Governors' forwards for much of the game, and St. Paul Johnson got off only nine shots during the contest. The Mustangs' Henry Johnson stopped nine shots out of the nine that he faced. Breck School incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Samuel Moberg rejected 31 shots on goal for the Governors. St. Paul Johnson totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
