The St. Michael-Albertville Knights and the Sartell-St.Stephen Sabres skate to 4-4 (OT) tie

Two goals from Tony Bork and one point from Connor Spetz could not prevent St. Michael-Albertville from drawing with Sartell-St.Stephen, 4-4 (OT).

The Knights forced the Sabres goalie Elliott Brookins to work between the pipes, taking 46 shots.

Nate Fischbach also scored for St. Michael-Albertville. More assists for St. Michael-Albertville came via Zac Borgen, who had two and Brett Marshall, Mike Ryan, and Tyler Hayes, who contributed one a piece.

Sartell-St.Stephen forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up six minors and one major for 27 minutes in penalty time. The Sabres had been averaging 12.0 minutes in penalties per game.

Sartell-St.Stephen was led by Aaron Randall, who finished with one goal and one assist. Randall scored on the power play 6:00 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Sartell-St.Stephen. The Sabres had gotten the advantage when St. Michael-Albertville's Borgen was sent off for holding. Sartell-St.Stephen also got a goal from Austin Stainbrook as well. Other players who recorded assists for Sartell-St.Stephen were Isaac Linstrom, who had one.

Trent Olson Olson rejected 24 shots on goal for the Knights. St. Michael-Albertville incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Sartell-St.Stephen's Brookins stopped 42 shots out of the 46 that he faced. The Sabres registered one goal on three power play opportunities.
