Kobe Roth finished with one point to lead the Warroad Warriors to a 2-1 victory over the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders.

Warroad stifled St. Cloud Cathedral's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Warriors could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Warroad averages 4.1 goals per game.

Warroad also got points from Ben Smieja, who also had one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Warroad were Jared Bethune, who had two.

The Crusaders put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Warriors to score on any of their three power plays. St. Cloud Cathedral did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Crusaders put an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game.

St. Cloud Cathedral was led by Mitchell Fritz, who scored the team's only goal. Fritz scored 12:15 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Will Hammer assisted on the tally.

Justin King made 19 saves for Warroad on 20 shots. The Warriors ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. Joshua Robak rejected 17 shots on goal for the Crusaders. St. Cloud Cathedral totaled 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 0-for-3 on the power play. For the Crusaders, Trevor Cornelius was ejected from the game.
