The St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders gutted out a close 4-2 win against the Breck School Mustangs.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Peter Thibault at 7:58 of the third period.

Thibault was all over the ice for St. Cloud Cathedral, as he grabbed two goals in the win.

The Crusaders' offense rang up 31 shots on Breck School's net.

St. Cloud Cathedral also got a goal from Austin Poganski as well. Other players who recorded assists for St. Cloud Cathedral were Tommy Hall, who had two and Austin Swingle, who had three.

The Mustangs kept St. Cloud Cathedral's goalie busy throughout the game, and Connor Amundson made 31 saves on 33 shots.

Breck School was helped by Matt Colford, who tallied one goal. Colford scored on the power play 1:24 into the second period to make the score 1-1. A hooking penalty on Swingle had put the Mustangs on the power play. Thomas Lindstrom provided the assist. Derek Wiitala also scored for Breck School. In addition, Breck School received assists from Michael Orke, who had one.

The Crusaders incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Henry Johnson made 27 saves for Breck School on 31 shots. The Mustangs incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
