The Roseau Rams gutted out a close 3-2 win against the East Grand Forks Green Wave.

No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Alex Strand at 5:40 of the third period.

Roseau also got points from Zach Yon, who also had one goal and one assist. Roseau also got a goal from Alex Halstensgard as well. More assists for Roseau came via Tanner Okeson, who had one.

East Grand Forks did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Green Wave put an average of 4.5 pucks into the net per game.

East Grand Forks was led by Tanner Tweten, who tallied two goals. Tweten scored the first of his two goals at 9:56 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Tommy Hajicek provided the assist. Tweten's next tally made the score 2-2 with 15:37 left in the third period. Brandon Loven picked up the assist. Other players who recorded assists for East Grand Forks were Kolton Aubol, who had one.

Ryan Anderson recorded 22 saves for Roseau. The Rams finished the contest with no penalties and went 0-for-0 with the man advantage. The Green Wave's Tanner Lindstrom stopped 16 shots out of the 19 that he faced. East Grand Forks ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
