The Rochester Mayo Spartans had a five-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-0 win over the Winona Winhawks.

Logan Haskins had two goals and two assists to lead Rochester Mayo. Haskins scored the first of his two goals short handed at 13:07 into the third period to make the score 7-0 Rochester Mayo. The Spartans found themselves down a man on Tommy Hanson's boarding. Haskins' next tally short handed made the score 8-0 Rochester Mayo with 6:00 left in the third period. Tommy Fjelsted provided the assist.

Rochester Mayo racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with six minors and one major for 17 minutes in penalty time.
