Rochester Lourdes downs Blake School in overtime, 5-4 (OT)Rochester: Graham Arena 1 Tue, Feb 05, 2013 Ben Weir gave the Rochester Lourdes Eagles a 5-4 (OT) victory over the Blake School Bears when he scored 7:28 into the extra period. With three goals and three assists between them, Alex Funk and Mason Carstens teamed up to power Rochester Lourdes' offense. Funk had one goal and three assists and Carstens also added two goals. The Eagles managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Rochester Lourdes ended up below its season average of 10.0 penalty minutes per game. Blake School was unable to stop the Eagles from sending pucks towards the net, and Rochester Lourdes eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. Rochester Lourdes also got points from Weir, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Jason Samuelson, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. More assists for Rochester Lourdes came via Lee Brandrup, Karl Krecke, and James Armstead, who contributed one a piece. Gleekel's next tally made the score 2-2 with 10:03 left in the second period. Edmund Chute assisted on the tally.
