Farmington beats Rochester John Marshall 4-3 after comeback scareRochester Recreation Center Tue, Nov 27, 2012 The Rochester John Marshall Rockets tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but the Farmington Tigers would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3. A goal by Kevin Olund put Farmington up 4-1 in the third period, but Rochester John Marshall pulled to within one on Sam Broman's tally 10:33 into the third period. Olund was all over the ice for the Tigers, as he registered two goals in the win. Grady Hauswirth also scored for Farmington. Other players who recorded assists for Farmington were Christopher Fitzgibbons, who had one and Erik Holmstrom, who had two. The Rockets were helped by Gavin Sandwick, who had two goals. Sandwick scored the first of his two goals at 3:24 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Farmington. Nick Paulson assisted on the tally. Sandwick's next tally made the score 4-2 Farmington with 13:08 left in the third period. Broman picked up the assist. Rochester John Marshall additionally got points from Broman, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Rochester John Marshall received assists from Jared Bromberg, who had one. Austin Krause made 15 saves for Farmington on 18 shots. The Tigers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Patric Sadeki recorded 24 saves for Rochester John Marshall. The Rockets totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 1-for-2 on the power play.
