Rochester John Marshall survives Albert Lea comeback, wins 3-1Rochester Recreation Center Tue, Feb 12, 2013 The Albert Lea Tigers tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but the Rochester John Marshall Rockets would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-1. Rochester John Marshall made the score 3-0 on a goal by Gavin Sandwick at 7:42 in the third period, and Albert Lea got as close as 3-1 when Lucas Peterson scored 9:48 into the third period. The Rockets were led by Nick Paulson, who had one goal and one assist. Paulson scored 8:38 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Rochester John Marshall. Sandwick picked up the assist. Rochester John Marshall's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Albert Lea power plays.
