Behind a great game by Jake Braun, who had one goal and three assists, the Providence Academy Lions defeated the St. Paul Johnson Governors, 7-0.

Braun scored 4:07 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Providence Academy. Ryan Tapani assisted on the tally. Braun dished an assist on Austin Jacenko's goal that made the score 3-0 Providence Academy at 8:14 into the second period. He then added assists on Tapani's goal at 13:05 into the second and on Michael Cossette's goal at 14:05 into the second.

St. Paul Johnson's power play was ineffective against Providence Academy's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.
