Princeton rips Buffalo, 9-3Princeton Ice Arena Sat, Nov 24, 2012 The Princeton Tigers had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 9-3 win over the Buffalo Bison. Tommy Schroepfer had two goals and two assists to lead Princeton. Schroepfer scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 2:41 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Princeton. A tripping penalty on Jerame Schueltzle had put the Tigers on the power play. Dan Muench provided the assist. Schroepfer's next tally on the power play made the score 7-2 Princeton with 15:52 left in the third period. Joey Stenslie picked up the assist. Princeton also got points from Jake Green, who also registered one goal and two assists, Daniel Voce, who also racked up two goals and one assist, A.J. Wesloh, who also registered one goal and two assists, Muench, who also had one goal and one assist, and Cam Paulson, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Chase Lindenfelser also scored for Princeton. More assists for Princeton came via Collin Buness, Chase Wark, Jordan Forschen, and Justin Sjoquist, who each chipped in one. Buffalo found itself short handed often, totaling 17 penalty minutes and allowing four power plays. Max Mattson made 25 saves for Princeton on 28 shots. The Tigers ended with 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major. Mikey Otten rejected 21 shots on goal for the Bison. Buffalo registered one goal on three power play opportunities.
