Proctor rips North Shore, 5-2Proctor Tue, Feb 12, 2013 The Proctor Rails were firing on all cylinders against North Shore, and when the final buzzer sounded Rails emerged with a 5-2 win. Proctor racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with eight minors and two majors for 36 minutes in penalty time. The Rails surpassed its season average of 18.0 penalty minutes per game. Proctor outdid its season average for goals scored. The Rails average 2.5 goals per game. Proctor was helped by Shane Gould, who finished with one goal and one assist. Gould scored 5:01 into the second period to make the score 3-0 Proctor. Ty Rackliffe assisted on the tally. Proctor additionally got points from Christian Ripley, who also grabbed one goal and two assists and Brodie Nordquist, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Cade Hella also scored for Proctor. North Shore did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. North Shore averages 4.3 goals per game. North Shore was held back by its power play unit, which tallied two goals on nine chances. North Shore was led by Bradley Rowlee, who tallied one goal. Rowlee scored on the power play 12:56 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Proctor. North Shore earned a power play opportunity when Jack Nikko was put in the box for checking from behind. Austyn Wasko picked up the assist. North Shore also got a goal from Tyler Schramm as well. More assists for North Shore came via Luke Small and Lucas Kempffer, who contributed one a piece. Tanner Haedrich rejected 13 shots on goal for the Rails. Proctor registered one goal on four power play opportunities. North Shore's Zach Duresky stopped 23 shots out of the 28 that he faced. North Shore ended with 31 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major.
