Kittson Central blows out North Shore, 4-0Bronco Arena Sat, Feb 02, 2013 The Kittson Central Wolfpack had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-0 win over North Shore. Kittson Central's penalty kill excelled, as the Wolfpack gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays. Kittson Central was led by Kyle Petersburg, who registered one goal. Petersburg scored 9:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kittson Central. Dalton Klegstad assisted on the tally. The Wolfpack stifled North Shore's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. North Shore was unable to stop Kittson Central from sending pucks towards the net, and the Wolfpack eventually piled up 45 shots on goal. Kittson Central also got points from Klegstad, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Kittson Central also got a goal from Anders Lindegard as well. More assists for Kittson Central came via Scott Mortenson, Alex Strege, and Nick Kasprowicz, who each chipped in one. North Shore's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Kittson Central power plays. North Shore did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. North Shore averages 3.8 goals per game. Kittson Central's defense shut down North Shore's forwards for much of the game, and North Shore got off only nine shots during the contest. Tucker Cosley recorded nine saves for the Wolfpack. Kittson Central incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Zach Duresky rejected 41 shots on goal for North Shore. North Shore ended with 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major.
