North Shore downs Ashland WI in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

North Shore's Luke Small scored 7:41 into overtime to beat the Ashland WI Oardockers, 3-2 (OT).

Small had one goal and two assists to lead North Shore.

North Shore did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. North Shore puts an average of 6.5 pucks into the net per game. Ashland WI was unable to stop North Shore from sending pucks towards the net, and North Shore eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. North Shore struggled on the penalty kill, allowing the Oardockers to score two power play goals on three chances.

North Shore also got a goal from Lucas Kempffer as well. More assists for North Shore came via Thomas Anderson and Mills Johnson, who each chipped in one.

Ashland WI's offense rang up 31 shots on North Shore's net.

The Oardockers were helped by Yachinich Eric, who racked up one goal. Eric scored on the power play 3:58 into the second period to make the score 2-1 North Shore. Hicks Tanner assisted on the tally. Wilson Alex also scored for Ashland WI. In addition, Ashland WI received assists from Halbe Zach and Warren Tate, who contributed one a piece.

Zach Duresky recorded 29 saves for North Shore. North Shore incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Ashland WI's Barnes Dyaln stopped 28 shots out of the 31 that he faced. The Oardockers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
