Green leads Princeton over North Branch, 10-1Chisago Lakes Arena Thu, Nov 29, 2012 The Princeton Tigers' Jake Green had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 10-1 win over the North Branch Vikings. Green scored at 2:38 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Princeton and again while 5:26 into the first to make the score 2-0 Princeton.North Branch fell victim to a deadly Princeton power play, which ripped the Vikings for five goals. The Tigers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. North Branch was unable to stop Princeton from sending pucks towards the net, and the Tigers eventually piled up 45 shots on goal. Princeton also got points from A.J. Wesloh, who also registered two goals and one assist, Chase Lindenfelser, who also had one goal and two assists, and Dan Muench, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Princeton also had goals scored by Daniel Voce, who had two and Collin Buness and Jordan Forschen, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Princeton were Ryan Bolduc, Chase Wark, Justin Sjoquist, and Tommy Schroepfer, who each chipped in one. The Vikings did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 12 shots on net to force 11 saves. North Branch was led by Brandon Kratzke, who scored the team's only goal. Kratzke scored 11:12 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Princeton. Mitchell Patten assisted on the tally. Max Mattson recorded 11 saves for Princeton. The Tigers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Vikings' Donovan Stefan stopped 35 shots out of the 45 that he faced. North Branch ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major.
