The Cambridge/Isanti Bluejackets had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 10-2 win over the North Branch Vikings.

Preston Simon was all over the ice for Cambridge/Isanti, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Simon scored 1:10 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Cambridge/Isanti.

The Bluejackets pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 34 penalty minutes.

The Vikings stifled Cambridge/Isanti's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

North Branch was led by Brandon Kratzke, who registered one goal. Kratzke scored 16:28 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Cambridge/Isanti. Colten Danks assisted on the tally. North Branch also got a goal from Mitchell Patten as well. Other players who recorded assists for North Branch were Tim Courtright, who had one.
