Chute nets hat trick, leads Blake School to 7-1 win over Minneapolis

Christopher Chute lifted the Blake School Bears to a 7-1 victory with a hat trick against the Minneapolis Novas.

Chute notched his first tally 3:47 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:58 into the second and at 15:58 into the second.

Minneapolis' zero penalties came back to haunt it, as the Novas let up four goals while on the penalty kill.

Minneapolis was unable to stop Blake School from sending pucks towards the net, and the Bears eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. Blake School outdid its season average for goals scored. The Bears have scored at the pace of 2.8 goals per game during the current campaign.

Blake School additionally got points from Mark Lyman, who also finished with two goals and one assist and Johnny Ferguson, who also registered one goal and one assist. Blake School also got a goal from Myles Cunningham as well. Other players who recorded assists for Blake School were Crey Banks, who had one, Cade Gleekel, who had three, and Edmund Chute and Peter Hildreth, who each chipped in two.

The Novas' offense operated below they season average. Minneapolis averages 4.0 goals per game.

Blake School's Joe Santelli stopped 18 shots out of the 19 that he faced. TJ Moseley recorded 25 saves for the Novas. Minneapolis avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored one goal off of zero power plays.
