Talarico's hat trick boosts Duluth Denfeld over Marshall School Duluth, 8-3Mars Lakeview Arena Thu, Jan 31, 2013 The Marshall School Duluth Hilltoppers could not stop the Duluth Denfeld Hunters' Levi Talarico, who tallied a hat trick in an 8-3 win. Talarico notched his first tally 6:59 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:11 into the second and at 11:37 into the second.Duluth Denfeld put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Marshall School Duluth to score on any of its five power plays. The Hunters surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Duluth Denfeld has scored at the pace of 4.9 goals per game during the current campaign. The Hunters could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game. Duluth Denfeld put 44 shots on net during the contest, more than the 0.1 it averages per game. Duluth Denfeld also got points from Alex Thomspon, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, Reid Lemker, who also had one goal and one assist, Tre Opack, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Matthew Mattila, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Zach Thompson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for Duluth Denfeld came via Nick Thompson, who had two and Patrick Potswald and Myles Leonzal, who each chipped in one.
