Zallek's goals lift Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter to 5-2 victory over MarshallMarshall Amateur Hockey Assoc. Tue, Feb 12, 2013 Brett Zallek was all over the ice for the Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter Bulldogs, as he tallied two goals in Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter's 5-2 win over the Marshall Tigers. Zallek scored at 10:50 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter and again while 9:11 into the second to make the score 3-0 Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter.The Bulldogs excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter additionally got points from Ryan Hoehn, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Brock Solomon, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Jonny Favre also scored for Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter. In addition, Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter received assists from Austin Braun, Levi Steuck, Luke Regner, Sam Wenner, and Sam Gerdts, who each chipped in one. Marshall was helped by Tyler Untiedt, who tallied one goal. Untiedt scored 7:29 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter. Marshall also got a goal from Quinn Horvath as well. Other players who recorded assists for Marshall were Adam McVey, who had one. Chris Amsden recorded 21 saves for Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter. The Bulldogs totaled 26 minutes in penalty time with three minors and two majors and went 1-for-4 on the power play. Masion Campion made 21 saves for the Tigers on 26 shots. Marshall incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
