Princeton downs Little Falls, 3-0

Billy Oakes had one point to lead the Princeton Tigers to a 3-0 victory over the Little Falls Flyers.

Princeton managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Tigers ended up below its season average of 10.0 penalty minutes per game. Princeton could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Tigers average 6.1 goals per game. Princeton's defensive play was more effective than usual against Little Falls. The Tigers average 2.2 goals allowed per game. The Flyers were unable to stop Princeton from sending pucks towards the net, and the Tigers eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.

Daniel Voce also scored for Princeton. More assists for Princeton came via A.J. Wesloh and Collin Buness, who each chipped in one.

Little Falls stifled Princeton's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Flyers did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Little Falls puts an average of 3.9 pucks into the net per game.

Max Mattson recorded 22 saves for the Tigers. Princeton registered zero goals on three power play opportunities. Michael Stumpf made 29 saves for the Flyers on 31 shots. Little Falls totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
