Kittson Central beats Morris/Benson Area 10-4 as Kasprowicz gets hat trick

Nick Kasprowicz netted a hat trick to lead the Kittson Central Wolfpack over the Morris/Benson Area Storm, 10-4.

Kasprowicz's first goal came 3:25 into the first period. He then added goals at 7:15 into the first and at 1:46 into the second.

Kittson Central found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Wolfpack have scored at the pace of 7.7 goals per game during the current campaign. The defensemen of Kittson Central were also effective in Morris/Benson Area's zone, and came away with two goals.

Kittson Central also got points from Zach Gatheridge, who also had one goal and one assist, Alex Strege, who also registered one goal and one assist, Kyle Petersburg, who also finished with one goal and two assists, Anders Lindegard, who also grabbed one goal and three assists, and Dalton Klegstad, who also had one goal and one assist. Kittson Central also got a goal from Jordan Rynning as well. Other players who recorded assists for Kittson Central were Blair Younggren, who had one.

The Storm were helped by Jordan Staples, who registered one goal. Staples scored 5:31 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Mac Beyer provided the assist. Morris/Benson Area additionally got points from Tanner Picht, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Beyer, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Riley Blake also scored for Morris/Benson Area. In addition, Morris/Benson Area received assists from Brody Gimberlin and Andrew Rentz, who each chipped in one.

The Wolfpack incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Morris/Benson Area incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
