Greenway beats Moose Lake Area 10-1 as Zuehlke gets hat trick

A hat trick by Bazil Zuehlke was the highlight in Raiders' 10-1 win against the Moose Lake Area Rebels.

Zuehlke got on the scoresheet 2:35 into the first period. He then added goals at 10:40 into the third and at 15:50 into the third.

The Greenway Raiders managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Greenway wound up below its season average of 12.0 penalty minutes per game. The Raiders kept Moose Lake Area's goalie busy throughout the game, and Tyler Hoffman made 69 saves on 79 shots. Greenway found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Raiders average 3.7 goals per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Greenway also got points from Joe OToole, who also racked up two goals and two assists and Joe LaDoux, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Greenway also had goals scored by Austin Sanderson, who had two and Andrew Stish and Michael Hoey, who each put in one. In addition, Greenway received assists from Darin Estey, who had two, Alex Troumbly, who had three, and Alex Manthei, Lincoln Shaughnessy, and Jayden Gangl, who contributed one a piece.

The Rebels did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting nine shots on net to force eight saves.

Moose Lake Area was led by Drew Bryant, who scored the team's only goal. Bryant scored 11:46 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Greenway. Cole Lower picked up the assist.

Mike LaDoux made eight saves for Greenway on nine shots. The Raiders registered three goals on six power play opportunities. The Rebels incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
