The Otters' offense rang up 44 shots on the Cardinals' net. Fergus Falls was often in penalty trouble, as it ended with six minors and one major for 17 minutes in penalty time. The Otters' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. Fergus Falls was led by Jesse Ketonen, who racked up one goal and one assist. Ketonen scored 14:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Fergus Falls. Fergus Falls also got a goal from Joe Nathe as well. Other players who recorded assists for Fergus Falls were Austin Hanson, Ean Goos, Casey Ward, and Aidan Colling, who contributed one a piece. Willmar's offense operated below it season average.
