The Northfield Raiders' Nathan Scofield scored 1:04 into overtime to beat the Faribault Falcons, 3-2 (OT).

Although Northfield was up by as many as two goals in the second period, Faribault kept the game interesting by staging a comeback that ultimately fell short. The Falcons got to within 2-1 on a goal by Issiah Brogden at 1:14 in the third period.

The Raiders were led by Scofield, who tallied one goal.

Northfield additionally got points from Andrew Scofield, who also had one goal and one assist and Taylor Freiermuth, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for Northfield came via Logan VonRuden, who had one.

Faribault excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

The Falcons were led by Jacob Werner, who registered one goal and one assist. Werner scored 4:52 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Evan Jensen assisted on the tally. Other players who recorded assists for Faribault were Riley Jandro, who had one.

Northfield ended with nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major. Faribault incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
