The Eveleth-Gilbert Golden Bears had trouble finding ways to stop the Proctor Rails, which beat Golden Bears, 5-2.

Proctor got the win behind a great game by Shane Gould, who had one goal and two assists. Gould scored 11:17 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Proctor. Christian Ripley provided the assist.

Proctor additionally got points from Ripley, who also registered one goal and one assist. Proctor also had goals scored by Ty Rackliffe, who had one and Brodie Nordquist, who had two. More assists for Proctor came via Cade Hella and Tanner Bergman, who each chipped in one.

Eveleth-Gilbert's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Proctor power plays.
