Oja nets hat trick, leads Delano/Rockford to 7-0 win over Hutchinson

Justin Oja lifted the Delano/Rockford Tigers to a 7-0 victory with a hat trick against the Hutchinson Tigers.

Oja got on the scoresheet 2:02 into the second period. He then added goals at 2:19 into the second and at 15:42 into the second.

Delano/Rockford excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Tigers' defense was surprisingly good. Delano/Rockford averages 2.9 goals allowed per game. The Tigers kept Hutchinson's goalie busy throughout the game, and Kellyn Buss made 40 saves on 47 shots. Delano/Rockford outdid its season average for goals scored. The Tigers have scored at the pace of 4.6 goals per game during the current campaign.

Delano/Rockford also got points from Adam McLain, who also tallied one goal and three assists and Eric Ylitalo, who also racked up three goals and two assists. More assists for Delano/Rockford came via Mike Krueger, Josh Dzurik, and Grant Prinsen, who contributed one a piece.
