Cambridge/Isanti's Anderson deadly on offense in 3-1 win against St. Paul Johnson

The Cambridge/Isanti Bluejackets relied on the scoring touch of Collin Anderson, who netted two goals, to beat the St. Paul Johnson Governors, 3-1.

Anderson scored at 8:07 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Cambridge/Isanti and again while 8:17 into the third to make the score 3-1 Cambridge/Isanti.

Cambridge/Isanti kept St. Paul Johnson's goalie busy throughout the game, and Samuel Moberg made 37 saves on 40 shots.

Cambridge/Isanti also got a goal from Dustin Davis as well. In addition, Cambridge/Isanti received assists from Mitch Renstrom, who had two and Jacob Sylvester and Veeti Uuttera, who each chipped in one.

The Governors were led by Matt Ranum, who scored the team's only goal. Ranum scored on the power play 6:15 into the second period to make the score 1-1. St. Paul Johnson had gained a power play chance when Jacob Sibell was whistled for tripping. Matthew Blees provided the assist.

The Bluejackets' Sibell stopped 21 shots out of the 22 that he faced. Cambridge/Isanti incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Governors incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
