Behind a great game by Matt Colford, who had two goals and one assist, the Breck School Mustangs defeated the Blake School Bears, 8-1.

Colford's tallies came at 14:01 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Breck School and 12:12 into the second to make the score 6-0 Breck School.

Breck School found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, the Mustangs average 5.1 goals per contest.

Breck School additionally got points from Thomas Lindstrom, who also grabbed one goal and three assists to lead the team in points and Derek Wiitala, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Breck School included Chase Ellingson, who had two and David Husband and Mark Sharp, who scored one goal each. Blake School's offense operated below it season average. The Bears average 3.1 goals per game. Breck School's defense shut down Blake School's forwards for much of the game, and the Bears got off only 13 shots during the contest.
