Causey's big game bests Blake School in 7-4 St. Paul Academy/Mounds Park Acad winBlake School Ice Arena Tue, Jan 29, 2013 Cameron Causey had two goals and two assists to lead the St. Paul Academy/Mounds Park Acad Spartans to a 7-4 victory over the Blake School Bears. Causey found the back of the net 3:55 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St. Paul Academy/Mounds Park Acad and again while 7:44 into the third to make the score 5-3 St. Paul Academy/Mounds Park Acad.St. Paul Academy/Mounds Park Acad forced Blake School goalie Jackson Norris to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. St. Paul Academy/Mounds Park Acad additionally got points from Evan Dahlseide, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Jake Westfield, who also had one goal and one assist. Drew Blackmum also scored for St. Paul Academy/Mounds Park Acad. More assists for St. Paul Academy/Mounds Park Acad came via Ben Morris, who had one and Jared Mickelson, who had three. The Bears forced their penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up six minors and one major for 17 minutes in penalty time. Blake School surpassed its season average of 10.0 penalty minutes per game. The Bears kept the Spartans' goalie busy throughout the game, and Nick Anderson made 28 saves on 32 shots. Blake School was helped by Cade Gleekel, who registered two goals and one assist. Gleekel scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 15:34 into the second period to make the score 4-2 St. Paul Academy/Mounds Park Acad. The Bears had taken the advantage when St. Paul Academy/Mounds Park Acad's Blackmum got sent off for holding.
