Billy Desrocher gave the Brainerd Warriors a 2-1 (OT) victory over the Bemidji Lumberjacks when he scored 6:46 into the extra period.

Brainerd was led by goalie Kyle Helmberger, who finished with 28 saves while allowing one goal. Helmberger certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.78 entering the contest.

The Warriors were paced by Desrocher, who grabbed one goal.

Brainerd's offense rang up 52 shots on Bemidji's net. The Warriors could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

Brainerd also got a goal from Logan Rivard as well.

The Lumberjacks were led by Noah Burns, who scored the team's only goal. Burns scored on the power play 7:51 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Bemidji. Brett Hartje provided the assist.

Brainerd registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. Gabe Heifort made 50 saves for Bemidji on 52 shots. The Lumberjacks incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
