Huge game by Bianchi boosts Academy of Holy Angels over Providence Academy, 10-2

The Academy of Holy Angels Stars' Mario Bianchi had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing one assist in his team's 10-2 win over the Providence Academy Lions.

Bianchi's first goal came 5:51 into the second period. He then added goals at 9:47 into the second, at 7:20 into the third, and at 11:40 into the third.

Academy of Holy Angels forced Providence Academy goalie Danny Noble to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. The Stars was effective with a man advantage, and put in three goals while on the power play. The defensemen of Academy of Holy Angels were also effective in the Lions' zone, and came away with three goals.

Academy of Holy Angels also got points from Frankie Mork, who also finished with three goals and four assists to lead the team in points, Tommy Haeg, who also had one goal and three assists, and Owen Larson, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Joe Sullivan also scored for Academy of Holy Angels. More assists for Academy of Holy Angels came via Marshall Barnes, who had four and Andrew Willner, Shon Jordan, Scott McNamara, and Zack Mains, who contributed one a piece.

Providence Academy was led by Michael Cossette, who registered one goal. Cossette scored 16:08 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Ryan Tapani provided the assist. Providence Academy also got a goal from Matt Murphy as well.

Zack Mains made 16 saves for the Stars on 18 shots. Academy of Holy Angels incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Noble rejected 27 shots on goal for the Lions. Providence Academy totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
