OJHL Prospects' Aidan Wallace scored 1:01 into overtime to beat CCHL Prospects, 4-3 (OT). Although OJHL Prospects was up by as many as two goals in the second period, CCHL Prospects kept the game interesting by staging a comeback that ultimately fell short. CCHL Prospects got to within 3-2 on a goal by Kelly Summers at 16:55 in the third period. OJHL Prospects was led by Wallace, who tallied one goal. OJHL Prospects forced CCHL Prospects' goaltenders to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots and forcing 32 saves. Brayden St-Germain made 17 stops and Gunner Rivers made 15. OJHL Prospects stifled CCHL Prospects' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. OJHL Prospects also got points from Dylan Wallace, who also registered one goal and one assist and Abbot Girduckis, who also had one goal and one assist. OJHL Prospects also got a goal from Brody Morris as well. More assists for OJHL Prospects came via Dylan Sikura, who had two and Jared Walsh and Francesco Vilardi, who contributed one a piece. CCHL Prospects was helped by Hunter Racine, who tallied one goal. Racine scored 19:14 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Daniele Disipio provided the assist. Connor Cobbold also scored for CCHL Prospects. In addition, CCHL Prospects received assists from Chris MacMillan, Andrew Ming, and Nathan Todd, who each chipped in one. OJHL Prospects' starting goalie, Lucas Peressini, made 11 saves and finished with the win before he was taken out in favor of Daniel Mannella, who stopped 15 shots. OJHL Prospects incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. CCHL Prospects incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
