LA Jr Kings (MM) uses early goal to top Chicago Fury (MM), 2-0

Devin Linker scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and LA Jr Kings (MM) held off the challenges of Chicago Fury (MM) in a tough 2-0 win.

A goal 3:49 into the the first period by Linker proved to be the game winner, and powered LA Jr Kings (MM) to the victory Kyle Martins provided the assist.

LA Jr Kings (MM) was boosted by Niko DELLAMAGGIORE, who turned in a shutout with 25 saves. DELLAMAGGIORE certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.76 entering the contest.

LA Jr Kings (MM) was paced by Linker, who racked up one goal.

LA Jr Kings (MM) stifled Chicago Fury (MM)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. LA Jr Kings (MM) was steadier on the defensive front than it has been for much of this season. LA Jr Kings (MM) averages 2.1 goals allowed per game.

LA Jr Kings (MM) also got a goal from Thomas Plese as well. More assists for LA Jr Kings (MM) came via Joseph Kaszupski, who had one.
